Our Giving Community is an association of local, state, and national workplace giving organizations that are working together to advance social justice, environmental protection, peace, human welfare and human rights around the world.  We support charities, employers, and employees as they work cooperatively to build successful and rewarding employee giving programs that serve the diverse charitable interests of employees in an efficient and manageable way.  Membership is open not only to charities but also to interested individuals and employers who support our goals.

From our headquarters in Portland, Maine, we provide an array of services to support our members and to assist private and public employers with the development of workplace charitable campaigns.

OGC programs include:

  • Training for members on workplace campaign development and conduct; highlighted by the annual national workplace giving summit
  • Dissemination of "best practices" and standards of accountability for workplace giving organizations
  • Consultation services to help employers design the best campaign for their employees and their communities
  • Publicity, education and research to advance the field of workplace philanthropy
  • Securing capital for financing workplace giving initiatives across North America
